Mentoring Research Group

Are you looking to enhance your research and publishing skills while advancing your academic career? MeRG is designed to empower participants by developing the specific and technical skills essential for success in the research publishing process. Through guided mentorship and collaborative learning, participants will create a personalized plan to overcome potential barriers, build research capacity, and identify clear pathways to success in academia.

Mentees in the program are paired with mentors whose experience and background closely match their research interests. In addition to the workshop programming on research topics and resources, participants meet with the mentors one on one monthly for a total of 10 months.
MeRG participants are required to complete a project which will be shared with all program participants, mentors and Chairs as part of their participation in the program.
