Our Mission

The Flow Cytometry core provides support for all phases of studies, including experimental design, staining, panel design, laboratory procedures, collection of samples on the instrument, analysis and interpretation of data. We also provide practical training.

We can help you running simple experiments using one to three colors or cutting-edge experiments using over 40 colors. The core facility is open to all schools and departments of the ECU community, as well as to researchers from external academic, industrial, and governmental institutes.

Flow cytometry is a very powerful tool, it is quantitative and very fast. It has tons of application other than Immunophenotyping. If you want to reach from point A to B, it is highly likely that we can help you in designing the assay. So please consult us when you have question in mind.
