Office for Equity and Diversity

The Office for Equity and Diversity provides leadership in the university-wide efforts to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. In addition to various educational opportunities, programming and training, the Office handles diversity and equity functions as intervention, compliance, consulting and other entities.

Department of Intercultural Affairs

The Department of Intercultural Affairs is committed to cultivating a transformative and culturally competent community by the creation of programming that facilitates cross-cultural dialogue, promotes cultural competency development and engages the community in reflective experiences. Within the Department of Intercultural Affairs, there is the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center, the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center and the Women & Gender Office.

Student Involvement and Leadership

Student Involvement and Leadership has a mission to develop inclusive and innovative communities with learning priorities that focus on identity development, effective leadership, understanding and appreciation for cultural and human differences and connecting knowledge to other sources of knowledge ideas and experiences.
