Letter from President January 2023

We’re looking to strength our relationship with Brody School of Medicine Alumnus and students.

As alumni, we encourage you to get engaged in various activities, mentorship, and new initiatives here at Brody School of Medicine. Now that East Carolina University and Vidant Health have merged as ECU Health, we have plenty of opportunities for engagement.

This spring, April 21st – April 22nd, 2023, we will host our annual Brody Alumni Reunion here in Greenville, North Carolina. This year we will recognize all classes due to our missed class reunions over the last three years secondary to COV19. We hope you can take some time out of your schedule and join us for fellowship, alumni awards, board meeting, and partnerships with our student organizations. The official agenda will be available soon.

As Brody School of Medicine looks to grow in size, we need the assistance of our staff and alumni to help them with their transition to future leaders of our state and nation.

If you are interested in mentorship, I encourage you to reach out to myself or “I AM First Generation” organization president. In this organization, they will pair up current Brody students and alumni to help nurture and mentor them throughout their Brody years.

In 2023, our theme is New Year, New Initiatives, and New Engagement. How will you be involved this year? We look forward to seeing you at the Brody Alumni Reunion and other upcoming events.
