The Brody School of Medicine embraces a culture of excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. A critical step in building upon our excellence is obtaining reaccreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the nationally recognized accrediting body for educational programs leading to the MD degree.

At its February 2021 meeting, the LCME voted to continue full accreditation of the Brody School of Medicine’s medical education program for an eight-year term. The School’s next accreditation survey will take place in the 2027-2028 academic year.
