Celldiscoverer 7 (CD7)
The Zeiss Celldiscoverer7 System – is an automated, inverted microscope with integrated darkroom for observation of live and fixed samples utilizing a Zeiss Axiocam 506 monochrome camera for fluorescent imaging with 7 LEDS.
The CD7 has a full incubation system and the platform can handle both plastic and glass bottom plates, cell culture dishes, in addition to standard glass slides (including intact chamber slides).
The unit has time lapse capability, can image multiple positions, and collect z-stacks.
The system utilizes the Zeiss Zen Blue software, including the full module for deconvolution.
The system includes:

–Hardware based automatic sample focusing and active focus stabilization
