Learning Environment at BSOM

BSOM is committed to preventing mistreatment of medical students and will provide a positive learning environment through the following:

• Distribution of Student Mistreatment and other related standard operating procedures (SOP) to medical students, residents, faculty, community preceptors, and administrators to facilitate reporting and tracking of incidents.
• Development of educational materials to address topics of fostering a positive learning
• environment, mistreatment, and related issues.
• Providing protections against retaliation of mistreatment and violation of the SOP.
• Preventing false accusations
