Request a Tour or Virtual Information Session of the Brody School of Medicine

In-Person Tours

The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University is excited to offer in-person tours of the medical school, so you can learn more about our MD program! Each visit will start with a brief 15-minute overview presentation of the MD program, followed by an approximately 45-minute tour of our facilities directed by a current Brody medical student. Please note that these sessions are informational only and are not meant to provide advising or updates on application status.

Virtual Information Sessions

For those who may not be able to attend an in-person tour, we also offer virtual information session opportunities! Each session will start with a 20-minute overview of the MD program and the BSOM admissions process, followed by a Q&A opportunity with an admissions team member and current Brody medical student. Please note that these sessions are informational only and are not meant to provide advising or updates on application status. Current applicants are not eligible to attend virtual information sessions.

Space is limited, and all tour visits and virtual sessions must be scheduled in advance. Both campus tours and virtual information sessions are limited to prospective students who are currently enrolled in high school or pursuing post-secondary education. Please note that these opportunities are intended for prospective students interested in the MD program only. School-sanctioned organizations should contact the Office of Admissions at somadmissions@ecu.edu regarding potential accommodations or to inquire about a tour of the facilities.

Once your request has been received, you will be contacted by the Office of Admissions to confirm your session date and time and to provide other important details. We do not have a dress code for these sessions, but we suggest business casual attire with comfortable shoes.
